I recently received the assigned reading list for my next graduate course in Knowledge Management. I went ahead and ordered two of the books in advance, thinking I might bring them on the plane with me.
Um. I don't think so...

So you're giving in to the fear that's been stoked for the past 7 years and allowing one of your basic freedoms to be curtailed? Both these books have been published here in the good ol' US of A, and one of them by the US Army!! Geez, even accepting that discretion may - indeed - be the better part of valor, it seems rather drastic to have to worry about being mistaken for a hijacker on a business trip.
Now you've got me thinking I'm going to take the counterinsurgency manual with me on my trip to Philly in two weeks to spend a few days with Dr. Ackoff. I probably look more suspicious than you do. I'll post some tweets from the airport to let you know how it's going.
